Voluntary service

When enrolling a student in the PSS, Parents must compulsorily declare:
  1. Organize lunch for teachers and duty during lunch (once a year - 2 families every Saturday when classes are held)
  2. Community service for the school - they undertake to work for the school for 10 hours
  3. Participate in organizing 2 school cafeterias (December, March)
Community service for the Polish School may include:
  1. Decoration of the parish hall for Independence Day (November)
  2. Decoration of the parish hall for the visit of Santa Claus and the Nativity play (December)
  3. Assistance in the preparation of the Nativity play ( December)
  4. Decoration of the parish hall for the Recitation Competition and Talent Parade (March)
  5. Preparation of Easter surprises - Easter eggs (April)
  6. Decoration of the parish hall for Constitution Day on May 3 (May)
  7. Help organize the end of the school year (June)
  8. Corpus Christi - decoration of the school altar (June)
  9. Assist in transporting accessories for children's sports competitions to the park for the picnic (September)
  10. Prepare the classrooms for the Parish Festival and clean up the classrooms after the Festival (September)
  11. Preparation of classrooms for the Parish Fest and cleaning of classrooms after the Fest (September)
Sign-up lists for duty, cafeteria and community service will be available when applications are submitted at the beginning of the school year.
Parents' participation in meetings and active involvement in the activities of the Polish Saturday School is indispensable for the proper functioning of the school.
