Applications of children to PSS are accepted throughout the year. It is necessary to send by e-mail information including the name, surname, date of birth of the child and parent's phone/e-mail to: polskasobotniaszkola.sanjose@gmail.com. Registration to the school is not tantamount to the admission of the child to the list of students in the next school year. All children attending the school in the current school year, are guaranteed a place at PSS in the following year. Confirmation of the child's enrollment in the school year will be sent at the beginning of August, at which time the registration fee of $50.00 must be paid (the registration fee covers the cost of books and is non-refundable). Applications and all documents containing information about the school are sent to parents at the end of August.
In order to speed up the enrollment process, we kindly ask you to bring the already completed applications on the first day of school and pay the tuition fee. The annual fee for one child is $650.00, for 2 children $1100.00, and for 3 children $1500.00. The school tuition payment can be divided into two installments. The first installment is due when the child enrolls in school, and the second installment is due by January 30 of the following year.
In addition to school tuition there is a fee of $50 per child for school books ( registration fee). Parents of all students attending the school are required to submit an annual registration form. When enrolling a student in PSS, parents must declare a date for organizing lunch for teachers and community service for the school. Lists of duty enrollment will be available when the application is submitted.

Very often we wonder whether to enroll our child in the Polish Saturday School? Is it worth it and is the child able to learn something there in a short time? What will they need the Polish language for? All of us who live abroad should realize how important the mother tongue is. Some parents think that since our children live here, study here and maybe stay here, knowledge of Polish is unnecessary. They don't take into account that in the future our children may reap incredible benefits from being bilingual. Maybe they will find a job where Polish will be as necessary as English.Besides, it will be nice for the family (especially the grandparents) when our children can talk to them in their native language or even write a birthday or Christmas card.
Welcome!
