Additional events for school year 2024/25
We invite you to participate in additional events organized by our school. Below is the schedule of events.
19 October
Freshman ceremony
First grade students are solemnly and officially admitted to the group of students of the Polish Saturday School.
17 November
Indepedence day
On Sundays, after the Holy Mass, the students of the oldest class present a short artistic program related to the commemoration of Independence Day. This is not a day of instructions in Polish Saturday School.
8 December
Santa's visit to the parish
Children are visited by Santa Claus wearing a traditional Polish bishop's costume. Santa distributes gifts prepared and brought by parents. Santa's visit always falls on Sunday after Holy Mass. This is not a day of instructions in Polish Saturday School.
15 December
Nativity play and parish dinner
Children from the Polish Saturday School perform in a Nativity Play, reenacting the story of Baby Jesus and the presentation of gifts by the Three Kings. This is not a day of instructions in Polish Saturday School.
8 February
Carnival parade
According to the Polish tradition, carnival parties are a great opportunity to dress up. On this day, children come to school in masks or costumes and can present their ingenuity and originality to everyone.
26 April
Talent Parade
The Talent Parade is an occasion wherein you can showcase your unique skills and talents in front of the whole school. The Parade includes musical and vocal artistic performances, as well as reciting of poems. Family, friends and PSS teachers are an appreciative audience. The young performers often manage to move the audience, surprise them or make them laugh.
12 April
Easter Traditions
One of the Easter customs that children like very much is decorating eggs - pisanki. Each class has a chance to decorate eggs and prepare palms for the Palm Sunday.
4 May
May 3 Constitution
After the Holy Mass, students of the oldest class present a short artistic program commemorating the adoption of the Constitution of May 3rd.
